Women’s March on Washington
Yesterday, I joined over half a million others here in DC, over three million around the country, and countless others from all seven continents (yes, even Antarctica) at the Women’s March on Washington. I marched for those who couldn’t: those who had to work supporting themselves and their families, those who couldn’t afford to travel to DC, and those who didn’t live near a sister march.
For many, yesterday was the continuation of years—and decades—of activism, but for me it marks the beginning. It may’ve been my first protest march, but I don’t think it’ll be my last.
