La Seine
The Seine bisects Paris, dividing the city into La Rive Droite (“The Right Bank” to the north) and La Rive Gauche (“The Left Bank” to the south). In the foreground is the Centre Sportif Émile Anthoine football (soccer) stadium. In the background, in the middle of The Seine on Pont de Grenelle, sits La Statue de la Liberté, forever facing westward toward her American counterpart.
