This West Germany-facing section of the Berlin Wall is on display at the Newseum here in DC. The graffiti-free East Germany-facing sections of the wall stand in stark contrast to the western side, highlighting the different realities of Germans living on opposing sides of the Iron Curtain during the Cold War.
